LAMBERT, FAITH CHRISTINE - (1927 - 2012) - Mrs. Faith C. Lambert of North Head, Grand Manan Island went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 24, 2012. She was born in Mark Hill, Grand Manan, the daughter of the late Frank and Marion (Wilson) Beal. Faith worked at home as bookkeeper for the family business over the years, but she will be most fondly remembered as a loving wife and mother to her family. Often Faith and her husband Herb could be seen together out for a lunch, or on a drive enjoying each another's company following a Sunday service. Faith's warm heart always made you feel welcome in her company. A cup of tea, a cookie or a warm donut was always at the ready in her kitchen for everyone who came for a visit. She was a trusting friend to all who knew her. Most importantly she was steadfast in her love and devotion to her Savior. She will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Herbert Lambert of North Head, one daughter, Sheila (Rick) Thomas of Moncton, NB, and one son, Rupert (Janice) Lambert of North Head, and by six grandchildren: Bruce, Michael, Calvin, and Daniel Thomas, Matthew, and Lisa Kate Lambert. Her three great grandchildren include Bronte Thomas, Meghan Lambert, and Sophie Brown. Curtis Benson of Calgary AB was a special brother to her.
Visiting will take place at the North Head Wesleyan Church on Friday from 7 to 9 PM. Friends are welcome at the Church on Saturday morning after 10:00 AM as well. The Funeral Service will take place at the Church on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Dr. Rick Thomas officiating and Rev. Jasper Rideout assisting. There will be a reception following the service and all are welcome to stay for a time of fellowship and refreshment. The interment will take place at the North Head Community Cemetery. Faith's family has requested that donations be made to Action Ministries, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
