HIGGINS, RAMONA - Ramona Adelaine Higgins (Hassan) passed away at the W.G. Bishop Nursing Home, Minto on Wednesday, July 25th, 2012 at the age of 82. Born in Chipman on January 20th, 1930 daughter of the late Holly and Blanche (McGinley) Hassan. Mona is survived by her daughters, Monica (Robert) Fulton of Gaspereau Forks, NB and Trudy Cormier (John Mullin) of Saint John, NB; three grandchildren, Kyle Fulton, Bill Cormier and Emma Cormier; sister Irene (Charles) Hicks of Mississauga, ON; nieces, nephews and cousins. Mona was predeceased by her husband, Murray and grandson, Justin Cormier.
Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (339-6612) until Saturday, July 28th, 2012 when funeral service will be held from the Chipman United Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Betty-Jean Friedman officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home, on Friday, July 27th, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorials to the Alzheimer’s Society of New Brunswick or the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
