It is with immense sadness we announce the sudden passing of Pauline O’Quinn, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt on July 23, 2012 at the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital.
Pauline was a member of the New Waterford Pensioners Club, enjoyed line dancing, darts, bowling but most all she looked forward to her bingo nights with her sisters.
Survived by daughters, Barbara Currie, Susan Campbell-Jessome (Rob), Bonnie France (John), Linda O’Quinn (Scott), Doris O’Quinn (Suzanne), Marilyn O’Quinn (Alwyn) and Dolly Bailey; sisters, Sadie Pastuck (Raymond), Frances Campbell (Danny), Rose Lewis (Cam), Heidi MacDonald (Stanley), Tracey Wright and Elaine Lamey (Tony); grandchildren, Ken, Glen Parsons, Cindy Cranstoun, Robert O’Quinn, Dawn Alcott, Sherri Curley, John, Christopher, Daniel France, Tyler, Richard, Jeanene O’Quinn, Ronnita Oliviera, Raymond Delima and Vinca Kumst and 19 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by parents, Paul and Mary (Anthony) Halnuck; husband, Robert; brothers, Paul, John, Ronald; sisters, Elizabeth, Kathleen and Suzanne.
A chapel service will be held on Monday, July 30, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Mclellan Brother Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford with Fr. Ray Huntley officiating. Burial to follow in St. Agnes Cemetery and a luncheon at the parish hall, Convent Street.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Palliative Care, C.B. Regional Hospital or the Cape Breton Branch of the V.O.N
