It is with broken hearts that we the family announce the sudden passing of our husband, father and brother, Robert MacEachern, aged 51, on Friday, July 27, 2012, at home with his sons by his side.
Born and raised in Sydney, he was the son of the late Joe and Gail (Spence) MacEachern and grew up on Park Street.
Robert enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially at the family home in Grand Mira North playing cards, throwing darts, or pitching horseshoes. A devoted father, one of his favourite memories was coaching his sons in baseball. He worked for many years at the former Forest Insight in Marion Bridge but in more recent years, he was employed at ServiCom in Sydney River. Always a kind and generous man, Robert was a good and loyal friend always ready to lend a helping hand.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Tanner); sons, Calvin and Aaron, and stepson, Randy Tanner. He is also survived by his sisters, Gail Jones (Andy Keough), Arlene (Bill) Ferguson; brothers, Joseph (Liz), John, Toronto, Arthur (April), Toronto, Mark, and Steven (Lisa), Ottawa; and numerous nieces and nephews who will forever miss him.
