Passed peacefully away at the Caribou Veterans Pavilion, St. John’s on January 9, 2010, Stanley Ralph Patey in his 91st year. Predeceased by his wife Hilda and son Trevor. Stanley leaves to mourn his children Raymond, Christine Stockley (Bernard), Anthony (Beverly), Colin (Linda), and Jasmine Chafe (Don); Also his sister Shirley Sullivan of Corner Brook and Carmen Pittman of Gander; grandchildren Roy, Jeanette, Terry, Christopher, Tony, Lesley, David, Matthew, Maggie, Meighan, Emma and Joshua; and six great-grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn a long list of extended family and friends. Visitation at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mount Pearl on Sunday, January 10th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., followed by visitation at Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony on Tuesday, January 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Anthony United Church on Wednesday, January 13th , 2010 at 2 p.m. with Rev. McGonigle officiating. Interment to follow at Fishing Point United Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Stanley’s name may be made to the United Church Cemetery fund, St. Anthony.
