Passed away on Wednesday, August 1st, 2012 at the Health Sciences Centre. John Gerard Billings, age 66 years. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Helena and infant brother Joseph. Leaving to mourn his wife Agnes (nee Murray); sons: Mark (Nancy Loane), David (Stacy Mullen) and daughter Susan (Derek) Gold; grandchildren: Darcy and Daphne Loane–Billings, Darragh and Devin Billings and Damon and Jasmine Gold; brother Aloysius (Reese); sisters: Rosemary (Alex) Whiffen, Maureen (Don) Williams, Betty (Howard) Brown, Lena Green and Theresa (Ivan) Warren; brothers-in-law: John (Geralyn) Murray and Fraser Eaton; sisters-in-law: Marie Sanford, Kay (Clem) Walsh and Bridget Leonard, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, especially those in Placentia Junction and Bar Haven. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, August 4th, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
