It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carole Anne Adams of Boxborough, Mass. on January 2, 2010, after a courageous two year battle with breast cancer, she was 43 years old.
Carole Anne was born in Sydney on April 29, 1966.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years Walter and son, Jarrett; mother, Geraldine Steeves; brother, Jim (Linda) Munroe; in-laws, Jack and Shirley Adams; brother-in-law, John (Heather) Adams; sister-in-law, Sandra (Seward) MacLean, all of Sydney; nephews, Christopher (Jenny) Munroe, Nicholas Adams; nieces, Melissa Munroe, Sarah and Kelly Adams and Lesley MacLean; great-niece and nephew, Chloe and Tyler Munroe.
She was predeceased by her father, Harold Munroe.
She had great love for her many friends and family and will be greatly missed by all.
Carole was a graduate of Riverview High and Cape Breton University. A devoted wife and mother, she also worked 22 years for D’Agostine, Levine, Parra and Netburn, P.C., in Acton, Massachusetts as a paralegal. Carole was a great sports fan. She loved the Boston Red Sox and the Boston Bruins, but her favourite team was the New England Patriots.
Cremation has already taken place in Massachusetts. Memorial service will be held at Bethel Presbyterian Church, corner of George and Brookland Street, Sydney on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010 at 2 p.m., Rev. Robert Lyle presiding. Reception to follow in the church hall. Burial to take place at a later date at MacDonald Memorial Cemetery, Ross Ferry.
