NORTHRUP, DORIS - The death of Doris Sybil Northrup, age 87, wife of the late Frederick Northrup, of Belleisle Creek, NB, occurred at the Belleisle Creek Manor, Belleisle Creek, NB, on Friday, August 3, 2012. She was born in Saint John, NB, on February 21, 1925, the daughter of the late Fred and Nina (Donald) Joynes. Doris is survived by her brother; Howard Joynes and his wife Mary of Belleisle Creek, NB; nieces June, Cheryl, Carol; nephews Bill, Reg, Larry, David; several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters; Edith Treman, Margaret Northrup; brother John and niece Betty Joynes.
She is resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Monday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Preston Mowry, will be held from Hatfield Point Baptist Church, at 11:00 am, on Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Interment will take place in Upper Springfield Cemetery, Belleisle Creek, NB. Donations in memory of Doris, may be made to the Upper Springfield Cemetery, Gideon Bibles or to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
