McADAM, SHAWN TRACY - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Shawn Tracy McAdam of Saint John, which occurred on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, after a brief battle with ALS. Born in Saint John on February 17, 1969 he was a son of Lois (Hannah) and the late Watson (Buck) McAdam. Shawn enjoyed boating, snowmobiling but most of all loved to spend time riding his Harley. He lived life to the fullest and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Shawn loved to spend time with his numerous groups of friends. He is survived by his mother, Lois McAdam; brothers, Terry (Heidi) McAdam of Hampton, NB and Gary (Gloria Boyd) McAdam of Saint John; a very special uncle to Abigail, Randy and Dylan McAdam; girlfriend Kim Houle; best friend Chris (Suzanne) Jeffries as well as many other special friends. Shawn was predeceased by his father Watson (Buck) and two nephews, Bucky and Danny McAdam.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 12:00 noon from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel.
