TOMLINSON, Eileen Shirley, 65- Truro, passed away Thursday August 2, 2012 at home. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of the late Ruben and Etta Pearl (Dykens) Jordan. Shirley cherished time spent with her sons and grandchildren. She enjoyed drives to the park with her husband. Shirley loved playing bingo and going for coffee with friends. She was proud of her elephant collection and liked to collect interesting things. She had a strong faith and has always been a church member. She will be sadly missed by her husband Ed, Truro; sons, Robie(Carmen), Kirkland Lake, ON, Michael(Muriel), South Branch, Steven(Melyssa), Truro and Adam(Wendy), Truro, several grandchildren; siblings, Maxine (Alan) Johnson, Goderich, ON; Bob (Marie) , Thorold, ON; Brenda(Charlie) Fancy, Niagara Falls, ON; brother-in-law, Chris Blay, St. Catharine’s ON; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Wanda Blay. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm today, Monday August 6, in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, from where a funeral service will be held 4pm Tuesday August 7, Pastor Tammy Giffen officiating.
