We, the family of the late Maurice Ross of Hillside, Mira, would like to thank all of our friends, neighbors and relatives who helped to ease our sorrow after Dads death on July 31, 2012.
Special thanks to EHS, ER staff, Drs. Glen Worth, MacKillop, Woodhouse and Pederson. To nurses Kim Barrett, Laura Lee Sharpe, Terri-Leigh MacLean and Bev Boutilier, you are a credit to the nursing profession. Thank you to Greg MacKinnon, RT, for his humor and hunting stories with Dad. Heartfelt thanks to Gloria MacDonald for ensuring Dad's comfort.
To our wonderful friends and neighbors who sent cards, donations, food and flowers, we thank you. Special thanks to Charlotte MacCormick for always being there for Mom and for preparing the meal. To Sheldon Chant and Aaron Lewis, what a wonderful rendition of "Out on the Mira" and "I Love Cape Breton"; we all loved it.
To Brian Burris, we thank you for sharing his stories of Dad's life and for helping us with his farewell. To anyone who helped to keep Dad at home, we offer our heartfelt thanks.
Dad loved the Mira, his home, his family and friends, his final resting place.
