Born: July 27th, 1944

Passed in: North Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada
Passed on: August 8th, 2012

We regret to announce the passing of Patricia LeBlanc, 68, of Jessome Street, Sydney Mines, on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at the Northside General Hospital, with Alex and their only daughter, Lana, by her side.
Born July 27, 1944, to the late William and Marie Stevenson. Pat was the only one of her siblings to leave Southwestern Ontario. However, she was always connected, eagerly anticipating her yearly trips back to London, and forever making phone calls or checking “the wall” on Facebook to keep in touch with family.
In recent years, she was happiest in her garden, digging in the dirt, or making plans for next season. We will forever be inspired by the strength, faith and independence she exhibited throughout her life and particularly during her illness.
She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Richard (Patricia) Stevenson, Donna Bush, George (Marie) Stevenson, Susan Geris, Gail McInnis, John (Kim) Stevenson, Sherry (Dave) Betterley, Pam (Ed) Bramley and Sally (Rick) Stevenson and a huge extended family of much loved nieces and nephews. Family reunions will never be the same. She will also by sadly missed by her furry companion, Higgins.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by eldest brother, Bill, youngest brother, Joe, niece, Shelley Way, nephews, Joe Betterley and Bill Stevenson and a greatniece, Jenni Stevenson Carr.
Falling leaves return to their roots, therefore, funeral services will be held in Ontario.
You can honour Pat’s memory by completing a random act of kindness, or making a donation to the regional hospital cancer centre, VON, palliative care, or a charity of choice.
Special thanks to all who showed their love and support during Pat’s illness, and also to all the professionals who ensured her care and comfort.
A memorial service will be held in London, Ont. at a later date.
Words of comfort may be sent to the family at jmjobesfuneralhome@ns.aliantzinc.ca.
“Too well loved to ever be forgotten.”
