Passed away peacefully at his residence, Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, Robert McInnis ‘Rabbit’, aged 62 years.
Predeceased by his parents, Alexander (2002), Jean (2007) and his sister, Tina (1964).
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his spouse, Joan; his daughter, Brandy (Luc); two grandchildren, Alexie and Owen; one stepson, Shawn and his daughter, Jessica; three sisters, Janie (Terry), Cambridge, Sharon (Mark), Fort McMurray, Noreen (Bill), Halifax; two brothers, Joey (Debbie), Fort McMurray, and Sandy (Betty), North Sydney. Special friend, Rob Snow ‘Snowy;’ his special nephew, Aubrey and a niece, Tina, with whom he lived with for many years, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A special thanks to his four sisters-in-law, Bev (Harold), Judy (Clayt), Ros and Tammy (Evan), who helped nurse Robert through his battle with cancer over the last several months. Also, a big thank you to the staff from CCAC and Cambridge Memorial staff.
Robert sailed on the Great Lakes for a number of years, he worked with McRoberts Spring until they closed and from there he went to Crowe Foundry where he retired.
Cremation has taken place and services were held at T. Little Funeral Home & Cremation Centre in Cambridge, Ont.
