Veronica Isobel Bobyk (nee Sheppard), born Nov. 18, 1931, of Sydney, Cape Breton Island, of the Esplanade, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at 4:30 p.m. Edmonton, Alta. time, after suffering a major stroke Sunday, July 29, 2012.
She was predeceased by her parents, Frances Edward Sheppard and Mary Ann Sheppard (nee Campbell), brothers, Hugh and Owen, sisters, Evelyn, Dolores (Dale) and Tess. Also by her daughter, Louise, son, Hugh Ronald (Buddy) and her husband, Peter Bobyk.
Surviving are her daughters, Mary-Jane and Shirley Ann and her sons, William David, Kevin Frances and Thomas Joseph, along with her many nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed by all. God bless.
