It is with great sadness that the family of Mr. Raymond Taylor announced his passing at the age of 80 years on June 11, 2012, at St. Anthony Hospital. Leaving to mourn with fond memories his wife of 46 years Mary; son Andrew (Tara); daughter Joan (Bruce); nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brother Gilbert (Marjorie); sisters-in-law: Mamie and Helen; brothers-in-law: Wally and Donald Spurrell. Visitation and funeral services were held at the United Church in Raleigh. Burial took place Wednesday, June 13, 2012 with Reverend Gus Pendleton officiating.
