SAULNIER, SYLVIO - It is with sadness that the family of Sylvio Saulnier of Fredericton, NB announces his passing on August 8, 2012, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. He was 47. Born in Tracadie, NB. He was the son of Medard and Jeannette (Comeau) Saulnier. Sylvio is survived by his loving wife Cathy (Corey) Saulnier, four brothers; Melvin, Stefan (Nicole), Cléo and Marc-André, nieces Chantale and Danielle; mother in-law, Sharon Ames, brothers in-law, Glen Corey (Lana) and Mike Ames (Marie-Josée), grandmother in-law, Beatrice Hawkins as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father in-law Mike Ames.
Although there will no visitation as requested, a memorial service in Sylvio's memory will be held on August 13, 2012 at 2 PM from Ste. Anne des Pays Bas Catholic Church, with Father Donald Savoie officiating. Internment to take place on the Forest Hill Cemetery. Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, has been entrusted with Sylvio's arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian cancer society would be appreciated by the family.
