Passed peacefully away on Saturday August 11th, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Ruth Morgan, aged 61 years. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Molly Kean; sisters Margie Lucta and Josie Snow and brother Bill Murray. Leaving to mourn her husband of 42 years Jerry; daughters Kathy Lear and Deanne Morgan; grandchildren Megan Sullivan (Fiancée Ryan White), Cody Morgan, Mackenzie Maher, Kyle Morgan; great grandchildren Carter White and Aliyah Maher. Also leaving to mourn the following sisters and their husbands: Regie and Dave Windsor, Dawn Pittman(Brian Doody), Louise and Fred Baker, Ilene and John Folley, and Jacqueline and Amil Andonov. Special mention to her 2 long term friends Shirley Sheehan and Jackie Pittman. Heartfelt thanks and appreciate go out to Dr. O’Shea for the care and treatment provided and to Pastor Gordon Young for the comfort he consistently gave to Ruth and the family. A very big thank you to Aunt Joan who is the rock of the family. Visitation will take place at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Sunday August 12th and Monday August 13th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday August 14th at 2 p.m. from Eastern Gate Church, 759 Empire Ave. (corner of Blackmarsh Road and Empire).
