Passed away after a short but courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, August 11th, 2012. David Francis Reardon “Doggie,” aged 68 years; retired City of St. John’s employee and local cab driver. Left with fond and loving memories, his loving and devoted wife of 45 years Diane (Fleming); one son David Jr. (Bonnie); daughters: Kimberley Reardon (Rod Sullivan), Kelly Samson (Kevin) and Kathy Reid (Gerald); grandchildren: Stephen, Emily, Rodney, Chloe, Justin, Skylar and Stephen; give brothers and five sisters; one brother-in-law and three sisters-in-law, especially Debbie. Also a large circle of other relatives and friends, especially his driveway buddies: Buster, Gary, Chrissy, Mike and Jerry. There will be no visitation. At David’s request cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Tuesday, August 14th, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Church. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Gifts of flowers are truly a kind gesture, however, donations to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation would be gratefully appreciated. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Dr. H.
