Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex in St. John’s on Sunday, August 12, 2012, Nicholas Ryan, aged 78 years old. Predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Susan Ryan, brothers Tom, Michael and William, his daughter Fidelis and infant grand-daughter Tara Cahill. Left to mourn is his wife, Catherine (Kay); Also, his children: Teresa St. Croix (Matthew), Ann Guest (Ronnie), Gerard Ryan (Deanne), Elizabeth Watling (David), Geraldine Collins (Spencer), Nicholas Ryan Jr. (Mary), Rosara Dawe (Joe), Marcus Ryan (Rita), and Jeffrey Ryan (Lisa); 21 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; Hannah Ryan (sister-in-law); Margaret O’Driscoll (sister-in-law); Michael Tee (brother-in-law) and Willie Tee (brother-in-law) and a large circle of nieces and nephews. Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls. Visitation on Monday, August 13th., from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Tuesday, August 14th., from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, August 15th., from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to take place from Sts. Peter and Paul R.C. Church, Bay Bulls at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Our Lady of Mount Loretta Cemetery Fund, Bay Bulls.
