McCLARY, RUBY KATHLEEN (STEVENS) - (1927-2012) - HARCOURT, NB - Ruby McClary 84, of Hillside View Special Care Home, Moncton passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital, Moncton on Monday, August 13, 2012. Born in Memel, NB she was the daughter of the late Tureman and late Annie (Crawford) Stevens. She was married October 19, 1946 to Lester McClary of Harcourt, NB. Ruby was a very special lady and loved by all. She taught school in Harcourt and worked at the local post office in prior years. Her greatest passion was the Harcourt Senior Citizens. She was a charter member of the Ladies Auxillary of Harcourt Legion. She attended St. Matthew’s Anglican Church in Harcourt. Ruby will be sadly missed by her brothers; Leslie (Eileen), Merrill (Sylvia), Victor and sister; Vivian (Thomas) Dixon all of Albert Co. and by sisters-in-law Dorothy McClary and Tillie Dawson of Dieppe, also many nieces and nephews and friends. Ruby was predeceased by her husband; Lester in 2000, her parents, sister Golda and brothers; Melvin, Edward, Leonard and Durley.
Resting at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Harcourt on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 2:00 pm, St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Harcourt. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Matthew’s Anglican Cemetery Fund would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
