– Passed peacefully away in the presence of his family on Monday, August 13, 2012, at the L.A.Miller Centre, of Chamberlains, age 86 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Elsie of 59 years; son Lloyd (Peggy); daughters: Joyce Malone (Jerry), Ruby Butler (Kirk); seven grandchildren: Glenda, Audrey, Kimberley, Heather, Michael, Krista and Holly; three great-grandchildren: Kayla, Kelly and Travis; one brother Ralph (Eileen); four sisters Lillian Peddigrew, Phyllis Dawe, Mildred Ross (Ron) and Margaret Bailey. Also nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Wednesday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Church, Topsail at 11 a.m. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Topsail.
