Passed peacefully away at the John M. Gray Center in St. Anthony on Aug. 8, 2012, Mrs. Gertrude Williams of Forrester's Point, NL, in her 95th year. She leaves to mourn with a lifetime of fond and loving memories daughters Dulcie Taylor (the late Kirby Taylor), Eliza Parrill (Grant), son George Williams (Mary), as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Clement Williams, daughter Mary Jane Bailey, son Roland Williams, mother Susan Macey, father John Macey, brothers Thomas Macey, Ressie Macey, sisters Jane Noseworthy, Mary Noseworthy, and Kezia Way. Visitation took place at the St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Black Duck Cove, followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11 with Rev. Harold Harvey officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.
