Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Tuesday, August 14, 2012, Jessie Parsons of Harbour Grace, age 91 years. Predeceased by husband: John Chesley; sister: Emily; brother: James. Left to mourn five sons: John (Philomena), Harbour Grace, Forbes (Debbie) and Vincent (Julie), both of Alberta, Stewart (Betty) and Dennis (Betty), both of Carbonear; thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister: Annie Driscoll, Nova Scotia; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Rev. Linda Pike conducted the funeral service on Friday, August 17 at Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace. Interment took place in the United Church Cemetery, Harbour Grace. Donations in her memory may be made to the United Church Cemetery Fund, Harbour Grace.
