Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home on Sunday, August 19, 2012, Amelia Keating Hobbs, aged 80 years, joining recently deceased husband Rodger Hobbs. Also predeceased by brother Rodney Matthews. Leaving to mourn daughters: Lisa Machin (Michael) and Michelle O’Connell (Steven); grandsons: Morgen Machin and Simon Machin; brothers: Rex Matthews and Kelvin Matthews (Doreen); sister Mauricette Farewell (Les); aunt Cora Jostiak, aunt Ruby Parker and uncle Clayton Matthews; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and dear friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday, August 20, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, August 21 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Wednesday, August 22 at 2 p.m. at the Salvation Army Temple on Torbay Road with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery on Blackmarsh Road.
