At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Friday, August 17, 2012, of Bruce Wendorf, veteran of Second World War, formerly of O’Leary and Springfield West, aged 89.
Bruce was born on July 27, 1923, in Hanover, Ontario, to his late parents, Henry and Sophia (Mahn) Wendorf. Dear father to Sharon (Glen) Brunelle, Calgary, AB; Keith (Susan) Wendorf, Rhinau, France; Catherine Wendorf (Pat Weippert), Calgary; and Lynn Wendorf (Gary Parker), Charlottetown. Loving grandfather to Spencer, Leeann and five great-grandchildren.
Bruce was predeceased by his parents; wife, Muriel (Feb. 4, 2002); brothers, Stan, Clinton, George; sisters, Niva and Doreen.
Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, where private family services will be held. Interment in the Bloomfield United Church Cemetery.
