It is with deep sadness we announce the death of our daughter, Eva Lynn Millman in Ottawa in Mission Hospice.
She is survived by sisters, Faun, Dartmouth; Leila, Orillia, Ont., her parents, Alan and Ellen Millman, Braeshore.
Prior to becoming ill with schizophrenia at the age of 16, Eva was a beautiful child; a loving daughter and sister, an avid reader, popular with her schoomates, an honour student throughout her school years and a reliable afterschool employee. Eva moved to Ottawa at age19 and lived there until her death. She took great pleasure in simple things; her weekly cooking class, visits to Tim Hortons, cigarettes and regular chats with her parents. She was a gentle soul who endeared herself to those who knew her and we shall all miss her.
The family takes this opportunity to thank the director and staff of the Shepherds of Good Hope residence, Rockwood Residence, Missions Hospice, the CMHA and the physicians and staff of Ottawa General Hospital and Montfort Hospitals, Ottawa, Ont.
A memorial service will be held September 14, in the Shepherds of Good Hope at 11 a.m. followed by interment in Beechwood.
