Lynch, Doris Joan (Nichols), September 10, 1923-August 19, 2012 of Onslow Mountain. It is with great sadness that the family of Joan Lynch announces her passing at the Mira Long Term Care Centre, Truro. Joan was born in Dartmouth, and was a long time resident of Onslow Mountain. She was predeceased by her husband, Stewart Lynch. Together they had enjoyed farming. She was also predeceased by her parents, John and Vera Nichols, brothers, Frederick, Sidney, Lionel and James, sisters Iris, Muriel and Kathleen. She is survived by a brother Gordon (Marg), sister Valerie (Wayne Priest), also many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the Mira for their excellent care and compassion. Arrangements entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, Truro. A graveside service will take place August 23 at 2 p.m. at the Belmont Cemetery with Pastor John Donkin officiating.
