FRIARS, PHYLLIS - Mrs. Phyllis Friars of Sussex Corner, passed away on August 20, 2012 at the age of 78. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Treva (Yensen) Butland and was the wife of the late Paul Friars who passed away in 1992. She is survived by her daughters: Susan Chown (Duncan Grant) of Sussex and Shari Currie (Brent) of Lethbridge; her son, Derek (June) of Sussex Corner; her sister, Alice Guitar of Sussex Corner; her brother, Norvell (Carol) of Rothesay; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers: Herman and Reginald.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), At Phyllis’ request no visitation or service will be held.
