Arthur Letcher passed away Aug. 25, 2012, at Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Inverness, he was the son of the late Arthur Rosewarren Letcher and Annie Judson.
Survived by his daughter, Shelly (Bill Taylor), brother, Walter (Phyllis), sister, Betty Romard, sisters-in-law, Irene and Minnie Letcher, also nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Arthur was predeceased by his wife, Theresa (Charest), brothers, Ted, Dan and Frank, sisters-in-law, Bobbie Letcher, Simone Charest, and brother-in-law, Maurice Charest.
Fulfilling dad’s wishes, there will be no visitation; a private graveside gathering of family and close friends will take place Tuesday, 3 p.m. at Alfred E. Smith Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home.
