The death occurred at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington, Ont., on January 6, 2010, of Wilson D. MacDonald, son of the late Angus and Marion MacDonald, Caledonia, P.E.I.
Beloved husband of Margo (MacGregor); daughters, Dr. Susan (Dr. Christopher) Kovacs, St. John’s, Nfld.; Elisa, Toronto, Ontario; grandchildren, Caileigh and Jamieson Kovacs, St. John’s, Nfld., whom he dearly loved. Brother of Elva (Freeman) Whiteway, Murray River, P.E.I. Uncle of Sandra Whiteway (Gus) and Jessie (Christopher) Somers. Granduncle of Amanda, Ashlyn, Cayden, Kyara and Chase.
Wilson was a member of the Masons at Wellington Square Lodge #725, Burlington, Ont., and was one of the founding members and also past master; also a member of the Scottish Rite, Hamilton. A Masons service was held at the funeral home on Thursday evening.
Wilson was a veteran and retired from the RCAF as a sergeant air gunner.
