
Jennie Keith
KEITH, JENNIE - Jennie Margaret Keith, 81, of Fawcett's Rest Home and formerly of Havelock, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Havelock, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Etta (Branscombe) Killam. Jennie was the postmistress for the Havelock Post Office until retirement and a member of the Havelock Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting and scrapbooking, but her greatest enjoyment was her grandchildren. She is survived and sadly missed by her children Leon (Debby) of Moncton, Beth Murray (Burton) of Petitcodiac and Greg (Brenda) of Smith's Creek; grandchildren Nick, Jill, Amanda, Adam, Alicia, Matt and Melissa; great grandchildren Zachary and Olivia, Tanner and Lynkin, Emma and Ayden; sister Carolyn Killam of Sussex; brother Harold Killam (Letha) of Truro and several nieces and nephews. Jennie is predeceased by her husband Francis, sisters Edna Plume and Willa O'Neill.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) visiting will be Thursday, August 30 from 6 to 9 p.m. and the funeral will be held Friday, August 31 at 11 a.m. from the chapel. Interment to follow at Greenhill Cemetery, Havelock. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
