Murdock, Lola Mary (Byers) – West New Annan, Colchester County, passed away peacefully, Friday, August 30, 2012 at the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche, N.S. She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Annie Byers; her husband, Foreman Murdock; and her son, Edward “Eddie”. The tapestry of Lola’s life was woven with the threads of her loving family, beautiful friendships, a deep faith and service to her Church, her work, love of music, respect for nature and compassion for animals. Lola is survived by her loving Byers, Murdock and Hamilton families. A very special thank you is extended to the medical and nursing staff at Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, who became an extension of Lola’s family over the past number of months. Their care was always given with love and compassion. A special thank you is given to Martha Underwood. These ladies are angels in our world. Special thanks to Dr. Bush for his many years of continued care and caring for Lola. A private graveside service will follow at a later date.
