BEVANS, NORMAN - The death of Norman William Bevans, age 86, husband of Madeline (Craft) Bevans of Shannon, NB, occurred at the Great Oaks Special Care Home, McDonald's Point, NB, on Thursday, August 30, 2012. He was born in Saint John, NB, on January 8, 1926, the son of the late Daniel and Gladys (Jones) Bevans. He is survived by his wife Madeline; daughter Annette Pollock of Shannon; grandchildren Joe Pollock (Kari), Danny Bevans, Michael Pollock, Shannon Hoar (Adam) and Ben Bevans (Crystal); 10 great grandchildren; several cousins.
Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Sunday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service, conducted by Jock Otis, will be held from Sherwood's Chapel at 11:00 am., on Monday, September 3, 2012. A private family interment will take place in Shannon Cemetery.
