HALLORAN, CAROLINE - 1937 - 2012 - Caroline Halloran, 75, wife of the late Edward Halloran, of Trois-Ruisseaux, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born August 21, 1937 in Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Adolphe and Émerise (Fagan) Léger. She will be sadly missed by her four loving children: Dianne Gallant (Claude) with whom she resided in Grand-Barachois, Tommy (Jeannette), Ryan (Maryse) and Donna LeBlanc (Sylvio) all of Trois-Ruisseaux; five sisters: Rose-Anna Vautour of Cap-Pelé, Jocelyne Gallant, Marilyn Léger and Rhoda Léger all of Trois-Ruisseaux, Marina Lirette (Gérald McGraw) of Cormier Village; a brother, Bernard (Janice) of Trois-Ruisseaux; 11 grandchildren: Shawn, Derek, Jennifer, Randy, Darren, Josée, Ashley, Chelsey, Kailey, Danie and Alex; several nieces, and nephews. Besides her husband, she is also predeceased by a sister, Aurore; five brothers: Paul, Adrice, Connie, Alphée, and Émeric.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé (577-3297). Visiting hours Sunday, September 2, from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m., and Monday, 9 a.m. until departure. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d'Avila R.C. Church, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé, Monday, September 3, at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
