REES, DOROTHY ELIZABETH - Dorothy Rees of Coal Creek passed away at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital, on Sunday, September 2nd, 2012 at the age of 80 years. Dorothy was born in Cumberland Bay, NB on June 15th, 1932 daughter of the late Wilfred Harry and Florence (Brock) Pilmer. She is survived by her children, Laurel (Thomas) Cormier of Coal Creek, NB and Jamie (Moira) Rees of Rusagonis, NB; sister, Joan (Raymond) Duplessie of Rothesay, NB; grandchildren, Sara (David) Bown, Alexandre Cormier, Christophe Cormier, Katherine Cormier, Emma Rees, Molly Rees and Benjamin Rees; great grandchildren, Matthew and Joshua Bown; nieces, nephews and cousins; sister-in-laws, Elizabeth (sis) Pilmer, Irene (Maurice) Rees; Marilyn (Walter) Rees; special family, Robert and (Margaret) Freill. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Lawrence; sister, Eleanor Foster; brothers, Harry, John, Robert and Herbie Pilmer.
Resting at Chipman Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday, September 4th, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Second Chipman United Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 5th, 2012 at 2:00 pm with Pastor David Egers officiating.
