Suddenly in Cavendish on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, of Carol Linda Coughlin of Summerside, aged 62, beloved wife of Brian Coughlin. Carol was born in O'Leary on Nov. 17, 1949, daughter of the late Georgie Ellands. Cherished mother to Terri (Blair) MacArthur, Miscouche, and Shelly Coughlin, Summerside. Loving grandmother to Tristyn Coughlin, Briana and Matthew MacArthur. Sister-in-law of Joan (Allan) Emery, Halifax, N.S.; Dwaine (Elaine) Coughlin, Dartmouth, N.S.; Gayle (Tom) Whitmore, Dartmouth, N.S., and Blair (Sharon) Coughlin, Summerside. Niece of Wanda (Lloyd) Cameron, Ruth Bearisto and Earl (Dolly) Coughlin. Half-sister to Wilfred (Patty) Gillis, Audrey Gillis (Robert), Lorne Gillis(Faye), Warren (Pearl) Gillis, Eric (Janel) Gillis, Allan Gillis (Clara), Brenda (Randy) Wilson and Darlene Gillis (Leonard). Carol is also survived by her godson Adam Coughlin along with several other nieces and nephews. Carol was predeceased by her mother, father and mother-in-law, Russell and Wanda Coughlin. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Wednesday 6-9 p.m. Funeral service on Thursday in the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery, Ellerslie. In memory of Carol, memorials to the St. John'sAnglican Church Cemetery, Ellerslie, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
