Adam Casarin of Moose Jaw, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2010, surrounded by his family, at the age of 83 years. Adam was born in Trebaselghe, Sant-Ambrogio, Padova, Italy on October 18, 1926. He came to Canada in 1959. He worked for many years in construction for M&M Construction. He loved passing his time working with his hands, whether it was gardening, wine making, or doing little repair projects around the house. Family was very important to him and he will be sadly missed. Adam is survived by his two sisters in Italy, Onorina, and Clemenza; sister-in-law, Loretta -Moose Jaw; nephew Luigi (Carol) - Brooks, AB, niece Lucia - Moose Jaw; brother-in-law Giovanni Paiaro, nephews Lou (Donna) Paiaro, and Gianni (Kim) Paiaro and their families - all of Okotoks, AB; and numerous other relatives in Italy. Adam was predeceased by his parents Luigi and Adele; his two sisters Teresina and Bruna, and his brother Giuseppe. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 10a.m. at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 1064 - 3rd Avenue N.W., Moose Jaw. Reverend Father Neil Osiowy will preside. A Prayer Service will be held Monday evening at 7p.m. in the W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Chapel, 106 Athabasca St. E., Moose Jaw. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
