EFFIE ELIZABETH PATEY

We, the family of the late Effie Patey, would like to express our sincere and heartfelt thank you to our friends, neighbours and co-workers who sent emails, donatios to charities, flowers, food, made phone calls, and those who traveled to be with us during this most difficult time. To Dr. Knott for his many years of service. To the homecare workers who lovingly helped our mom for many years (her "Angels of Mercy"), to the North Sydney Pensioners Club Honour Guard for your act of remembrance. To the residents of Beacon Crescent whose memories will always be with us. To our brother-in-law, Rev. Ron Coole for your thoughtful reading for Mom, to St. John the Baptist Anglican Church for your home visits for communion and spiritual comfort to Mom. To David Murray (church organist). A special thank you to Reverent Carl Fraser for your very comforting visits to the family during this most difficult time and for warmly describing the relationship between Mom and her loved ones. A thank you to the choir for the singing of Mom's favourite hymns and the Ladies of the Church for the lovely luncheon after the final service. To Peter Walsh and his staff of W.J. Dooley's Funeral Home for your professional and warm caring ways. Finally, to the wonderful pallbearers who made Mom's final journey to our Dad, thank you all; Gordon MacLeod, Jerry LeMoine, Dan Sknner, Dan Poirier, Scott Thomas, and Hartley LaFosse. Everyone will warmly be remembered in our thoughts.

The Patey Family
