With broken hearts, we announce the untimely passing of our beautiful angel, a daughter, mother, sister, niece and friend. Lisa passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012, in Kingston. Ont.
Born in Kingston, Ont., she was the daughter of Danette Brown and Daniel Howe. While residing in Glace Bay, Lisa Anne was a member of St. Mary's Anglican Church, Glace Bay.
Lisa loved long walks along the ocean with her mom, children and pets when she was home in Cape Breton; she also enjoyed swimming in the Mira River. She had a zest for life and an unforgettable smile for everyone. She was a very kind, creative, and caring person who will be forever in our hearts.
She is survived by her beloved children, Carmela Danette and Emily Allyson, both of Kingston, Ont.; her loving mother, Danette Brown and her adoring brother, Matthew Howe, both of Glace Bay. Also surviving are her father, Daniel (Allyson Azulay) Howe; sisters, Lauren and Tara; brothers, Chris and Brandon, all of Kingston, Ontario. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. She will also be deeply missed by her constant K-9 companions, her dogs, Bella and Rico.
Lisa was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Daniel and Shirley (Parsons) Brown and her paternal grandparents, Vern and Ameila Howe.
Cremation has taken place in Kingston, Ont.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 12-1:45 p.m. in the V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay; A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 2 p.m. in St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Glace Bay, with The Rev’d Vernon Reid officiating. Interment will be in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens, Sydney. A reception will follow the interment in St. Mary’s Church Hall.
