LEBLANC, NÉLIDA - Nélida LeBlanc, 88, wife of the late Alphée LeBlanc (1995), of Auberge du Soleil, Dieppe and formerly of Scoudouc, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2012. Born January 25, 1924 in Rogersville, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mélésse (LeBlanc) Chevarie. She will be sadly missed by her four daughters: Florence Saulnier (Hector) and Angela Melanson (Émery) both of Scoudouc, Dorine LeBlanc of Dieppe and Maria Bourque (Roger) of Cormier Village; three sons: Donald (Arleen) of Mississauga, ON, Roger of Scoudouc and Rhéal (Cathy) of Cormier Village; three brothers: Damien "Dan" of Montreal, Fidèle of Rogersville and Camille of Calgary; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a daughter in-law, Claudette LeBlanc of Dieppe, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she is predeceased by a son, Richard; a sister, Délima Bordage; four brothers: Tim, Arthur, Jean-Baptiste and Joseph; an infant sister, Florence; an infant brother, Albénie; a grandson, Daniel and great granddaughter, Stéphanie.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297). Visiting hours Friday, September 14, 2012 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 9 a.m. until time of departure. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Jacques-Le-Majeur R.C. Church, Scoudouc, Saturday, September 15, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In memory of Nélida, a contribution to the Canadian Liver Foundation would be appreciated.
