Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Community Hospital, O’Leary on Monday, September 17, 2012 of J. “Roger” Jeffery,of Duvar, aged 57, cherished partner of Robert MacNaught. Born in Alberton on January 15, 1955 he was the son of the late Jack and Ezena (Gallant) Jeffery. Roger is survived by his mother in law Leta MacNaught and brothers Ralph (Paula), Harvey (Betty) and Allan (Beverley) and by nieces Kim Bernard (Rodney), Tracey (David) Bell and Tammy Jeffery, as well as, grand nephew Colin Bell; grand nieces Elese Bernard and Leandra Jeffery. He is also survived by brothers and sisters in law: Claudette (Roger) Sharpe, Kathy (Stephen) Milligan , Connie (Robert) Morrison , Brian (Judy) MacNaught, Vicki (Blake) Harper, Miles MacNaught and Darren (Tracy) MacNaught; Aunts and Uncles: Reggie (Georgina) Gallant, Mary Perry, Eileen Arsenault, Albert (Marj) Jeffery, Levi Jr (Grace) Jeffery and Rose Lavigne. Predeceased by his parents, nephew Joey Jeffery, father in law Claude MacNaught, Aunts: Mary Jane, Hannah, Lucy, Florence, Sophie; Uncles: Joe, Elmer, Leonard, Billy, Leo, Roy and friend Father Lee Gillis. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and until 10am on Thursday, then to St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Woodstock for funeral mass at 10:30am. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital, O’Leary would be appreciated..
