Violet Haroldson
December 28, 1919 – September 22, 2012
On the 22nd day of September 2012 at the age of 92 years Mrs. Violet Mary Haroldson passed away peacefully at the University Hospital with her family at her bedside. Violet was predeceased by: her parents : Martha & James Lacey; her first husband Larry Olson and her second husband Henry Haroldson, her eldest son Jim Olson, a brother Bob Lacey and a sister Mabel (Ernie) Reed. Violet is survived by her remaining four children: Jerri (Gary) Taylor, Marvis Olson (Greg Ball), Dean (Irene) Olson, Rob Olson (Deb Melnechuk), her three step children: Shirley (Joe) Kawchuk, Vern Haroldson (Dorothy Brotzel), Barry (Kathy) Haroldson, a daughter in law Jane Olson, and a sister in law Madeline Lacey. She was blessed with six grandchildren, eight step grandchildren, three great grandchildren and thirteen step great grandchildren.
Vi was well known for her love of sewing and helping others. Vi spent her last years dividing her time travelling amongst her family.
The funeral service for Violet will be held on Wednesday, September 26th, 2012 at 1:00 pm from the Lion’s Hall in Shell Lake, SK with Reverend David Jensen officiating.
