May 4, 1979 - September 20, 2012. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Scott Robert Turpin, formerly of Burin, NL, at the Lloydminister Hospital in Lloydminister, Saskatchewan, on Thursday, September 20, 2012, at the age of 33. Precious son of Elaine and beloved brother of Lisa Marie. Scott leaves behind special family friend Dana Legge; as well as a number of aunts, uncles and cousins; plus a large circle of family and friends in Alberta and Newfoundland. Predeceased by father Robert (Bob) Turpin and his maternal and paternal grandparents. Scott was very successful in his chosen career; a hard worker who was well respected by his peers; a fun loving, generous young man who enjoyed life. All of us who knew him will cherish our own personal memories. Rested at Wiseman's Funeral Home in Burin, NL, on Sunday, September 23rd and Monday, September 24th. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Holy Name of Jesus Church in Lawn on Tuesday, September 25th, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Holy Name of Jesus Cemetery in Lawn. In Scott's memory donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or flowers gratefully accepted.
