Passed away into peace at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on Sept. 11, 2012, Mrs. Nellie Mae Hillier. Nellie leaves behind to mourn her loss her husband Ralph; her sons Charles (Carol Ann), and Carl (Shirley); her daughters Ina (Wilbourn), Eileen (Eric), Glowena (Morris), Gaye (Harold), and Teena (Gilbert); her brothers George, Harold, and William; her sisters Shirley and Goldie, as well as 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a large circle of other family and friends and close family friend Wavey Snow. Nellie lived to see the passing of her parents Kenneth and Edith Adams, her mother Hetti Adams who passed during childbirth, and her brothers Melvin and Wilson. Visitation was held at the Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle in Griquet from where the funeral service took place at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 14 with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery, Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
