Beatrice Betty Ann Stark passed away September 26th 2012 in California. "Betty" was born September 11, 1937 in Nova Scotia, Canada to Gilbert and Mary Burge. She was one of thirteen children and just celebrated her 75th birthday. Betty moved to California in 1965. She loved art and was honored for her work in oil painting receiving first place money and a second place ribbon from the Huntington Beach Art League. She graduated from Golden West College with a degree in nursing and worked as a registered nurse for 31 years. Betty is survived by her two daughters, Shelley and Tracy; and five grandchildren, Sage, Chantel, Shoshana, August, and Landon.

Beatrice Stark was a woman of grace, strength, character, and integrity. She was an amazing cook and incredible dancer (she loved dancing). We will miss you Mom. You will forever be in our hearts. May you never stop dancing.
