COMEAU, DORICE - Dorice Comeau, 86, of Comeau Street, Shediac, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2012 at the Villa Providence where she resided. Born December 15, 1925 in Barachois, she was the daughter of the late Ephrem and Exelda (Boudreau) Boudreau. She was employed at the Villa Providence prior to her retirement. She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband of 67 years, Alban; four children: Yvette Niles (Éric) of Bas-Cap-Pelé, Andréa Comeau, Roger (Noëlla), and Bernard all of Shediac; three grandchildren: Serge, Danielle and Luc; three great-grandchildren: Yannick, Patrick, and Sofia; many nieces, nephews, and her former daughter-in-law, Claudette. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is predeceased by her great-grandson, Samuel; four sisters: Léa, Sarah, Cécilia and Béatrice; three brothers: Emery, Georges and Ovide.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297). Visiting hours Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, from 10 a.m. until time of departure. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Joseph’s R.C. Church, 415 Main Street, Shediac, on Tuesday, October 2 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In memory of Dorice, a contribution to the Parkinson Society Canada, the Canadian Cancer Society or the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
