After a courageous battle with various health issues, and peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, September 28, 2012, of Bernadette Larkin of Charlottetown, age 66 years.
Beloved daughter of the late John and Helen Larkin and loving sister of Kathleen (Kaye) Larkin, Brenda Martin (Joey), and Kevin (Badger) Larkin (Sheila MacAulay). Bernadette is also survived by special nephew Calvin Larkin (Tracey Clements); special niece Jackie Kennedy (Ron); sister-in-law, Dianne Hendricken; and special grandnieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Billy, Gerard and Michael Larkin.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Monday, October 1, 5-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 2, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stratford, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow later.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
