The death occurred peacefully at the Souris Hospital on Tuesday, October 2, 2012, of Francis A. White, veteran of the Second World War, of Souris West, in his 93rd year.
Special friend of Nora Villard and husband of the late Beatrice (nee Holland). Father of Tom (Corinne), Kathy (Walter), Eric (Debbie), Carol (Peter) and Alan (Kimberlee). Fondly remembered by 13 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Survived by brother Eugene. Also fondly remembered by Fred, Karen and Shirlee.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Thursday, October 4, 2012, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 1 p.m. until funeral time. Funeral to be held on Friday afternoon, October 5, 2012, to St. Alexis Roman Catholic Church in Rollo Bay for funeral mass to be celebrated at 2 p.m. Interment to follow.

Members of the Royal Canadian Legion are asked to meet at the funeral home on Thursday at 6:45 p.m. for a legion service.
