PERLE SALI

PERLE SALI

Passed on: October 6th, 2012

Perle was born and raised on a ranch in the Big Muddy area of Saskatchewan near Coronach. She was the only child of Thomas and Blanche Marshall. Perle married Christian Roy Sali in 1942. Perle met Chris in Regina while attending business college. Perle is survived by two sons: Marshall (Judy) Sali, Saskatoon, Monty (Vonda) Sali, Swift Current and by two grandchildren James and Kristina Sali of Saskatoon. Perle was predeceased by her husband Christian in 1998.
Perle enjoyed gardening, painting and ceramics in her younger years. Later in life, she enjoyed going out for lunch and coffee to meet and chat with family, friends and cousins as long as she was able. Perle was saddened by the losses of her lifelong friend, Muriel Miller of Regina, and her close friend Kate Morusyk of Saskatoon. She continued to converse daily with Jesse Grieves also a lifelong friend living in Saskatoon.
Perle's family wishes to thank the people of Merrivale on Main and many friends and cousins who helped support in her condo as she grew older. Much gratitude goes to the staff of Amy McClure house, St Paul's and Saskatoon City Hospitals, and St Ann's where Perle was comforted and well cared for during her final days.
In lieu of flowers, please donate in Perle's memory to St Ann's Senior Citizen's Village, Amy McClure House or a charity of your choice. A Service Of Remembrance will be held on Saturday October 13, at 10:30 am in the chapel of the Saskatoon Funeral Home (338 4th ave N). Condolences may be sent to mail@saskatoonfuneralhome.com.
