It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edward Alton Hudson announce his passing on October 15, 2012 at his family residence in St. George’s, at the age of 71 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife June; sons: Charlie (Nikki), Harry (Wendy), Scott, all of St. George’s; grandchildren: Dawson, Shyla Rae; sister Barbara (Harry) Wooten, Colbert, WA; brother David, St. George’s; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Charles and Hilda Hudson. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 18th at 2:00 PM from the First United Church, St. Clare Avenue, Stephenville, with Reverend Kathryn Eddy officiating. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, St. George’s. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Diabetes’ Association.
